How to create a Jira ticket

If you want to create a Jira ticket, you need to fill in some fields. We will show you how to do that. To open the creation screen, you have two options.

  1. Click on the “Create” button above or
  2. Press C on the keyboard

A screen mask will open that looks similar to this:

Depending on the project that the ticket is assigned to, other fields are predefined by the system administrators. Required fields in are marked with a red asterisk.

Now you can fill in all relevant fields and save the settings by clicking the “Create” button to set up the Jira ticket.
