What is Scrum of Scrums?

Scrum of Scrums are regular meetings between representatives of different Scrum teams. The goal of these meetings is to exchange information about the status of work and to manage and efficiently scale more complex development processes. Therefore, Scrum of Scrums is a method used to scale Scrum for larger organizations.

Usually, Scrum of Scrum meetings take place every two weeks or once a month.

The following questions are relevant to these meetings:

• What successes has my team achieved since the last meeting?
• What will my team accomplish before the next Scrum of Scrums?
• Which obstacles might arise?
• Are there activities my team is doing that impact other teams?

These regular cross-team meetings are essential to ensure that the joint project progress is visible to everyone involved.
