Jira – who can start the sprint?

You can start a sprint only if no other sprint is active at the same time. In addition, it is necessary that you have the “Manage Sprints” permission.
With this permission, users can also:

  • create sprints

  • delete sprints

  • edit properties of the sprint (like dates, name, and goals)
