What is a page in Confluence?

A Confluence page is where knowledge can be stored and edited. Confluence pages are live documents that you can use to create project plans, meeting notes, instructions, or guidelines. This becomes easier for you with pre-installed page templates. In Confluence, pages can be made visually appealing to your style with layout options. Text, images, and attachments, such as PDFs, can be easily added.

Metadata such as status, owner or deadline can be added to a page with the Page Properties macro and collected automatically into an overview on a parent page.
