Which issue types are moved to the next sprint automatically when you complete a sprint?

When a Jira sprint is completed, Jira will automatically move any unresolved issues of the following issue types to the next sprint:

  • Bug
  • Improvement
  • New Feature
  • Task
  • Sub-task

However, this behavior can be customized by the Jira administrator in the workflow settings. The Jira administrator can configure which issue types are automatically moved to the next sprint and which ones are not.
