The newest release of Report Builder 3.1.5 contains an improved navigation, userfriendly windows and display modes as well as some new features for report examples like Pivot and Hierarchy.
The new version of the Report Builder allows you to mark reports as favorites and filter them. Scripted reports are now much easier to create and story points have been added to the hierarchy report. We also tell you what has been improved in timesheets.
General Global navigation improvements: we changed the architecture of the app to a mix of SPA (Single Page Application) and MPA (Multipage Application) to allow better navigation between pages.
New report "Workload Pie Chart": Use this report to learn more about time tracking and resource allocation for projects/components/users/labels etc. Also click into each group in the report to get deeper insights.
General: Multiple UI improvements: We added a lot of tooltips to different UI elements on "My Timesheets", "Reports" and "Teams". Some elements sizes and margins were changed to be more user-friendly and easy to use.
In this Release, we fixed some issues with the user profile panel. Moreover, we made a few improvements in our data cleaner module. We renamed some field names to better reflect their functions and we made the editing of templates easier.
Major change: Both reporting sections "Time Reports" and "Scripted Reports" were merged into one section called "Reports". This change improves user experience and provides a common way to create reports of any type.
New feature: The search function in the data cleaner module has been changed. Now the search can be started without a specific target group. Bug fix: Previously, errors occurred when clicking on a history page task. The problem has been fixed.
