Overview<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Inline Table Editing macro has multiple settings. These settings help you to disable filters and sorting for a specific macro, enable or disable drag and drop feature, activate or deactivate inline editing, enable export, specify table height.<\/p>\n

Macro settings are set on individual macro level. It means, that if you set any of these settings for one macro, second macro on the same or on any other page will have its own defined settings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You can find more information about each option and how to open and manage these settings below.<\/p>\n

How to open macro settings?<\/h1>\n

Macro settings are available in edit and view page modes.<\/p>\n

In view mode there are two sections: table and personal settings. Settings list in edit mode contains only table settings.<\/p>\n

Table settings are applied on table level. Any user sees table the same way. For example, if filter option is disabled for a table macro, no one can apply filters until it is activated again.<\/p>\n

Personal settings can be used to enable or disable autosave for any table for current user. On the modal dialog you can also see a button to save current settings as personal default settings. It means, that if you save the settings as personal template and then add a new macro, saved settings will be applied to a new macro as default. They can be adjusted any time.<\/p>\n

To open macro settings in view mode:<\/h2>\n

In Cloud and Data Center macro in view mode are available under the gear icon. Please kindly click on the gear icon in the top menu. Modal dialog will open.<\/p>\n

Inline edit<\/h2>\n

To disable inline edit, please unselect \u201cEnable inline edit\u201c checkbox.<\/p>\n

If you disabled this feature and would like to use it, please select the checkbox again.<\/p>\n

By the default this function is active.<\/p>\n

Drag and drop rows and columns<\/h2>\n

To prevent using drag and drop option for columns and rows, please kindly unselect \u201cDrag and drop rows and columns\u201c checkbox.<\/p>\n

If you disabled this feature and would like to use it, please select \u201cDrag and drop rows and columns\u201c checkbox.<\/p>\n

By the default this option is activated.<\/p>\n

Filters<\/h2>\n

To disable filter function, please unselect \u201cAllow column filters\u201c checkbox.<\/p>\n

If you disabled this feature and would like to use it, please select the checkbox again.<\/p>\n

By the default this option is activated.<\/p>\n

Sorting<\/h2>\n

To disable filter function, please unselect \u201cAllow column sorting\u201c checkbox.<\/p>\n

If you disabled this feature and would like to use it, please select the checkbox again.<\/p>\n

Export<\/h2>\n

To disable filter function, please unselect \u201cAllow table export\u201c checkbox.<\/p>\n

If you disabled this feature and would like to use it, please select the checkbox again.<\/p>\n

By the default this option is activated.<\/p>\n

Table height in px<\/h2>\n

You can customize height of the table by typing required table height in px in the field.<\/p>\n

Please leave this field empty to use unlimited height (set automatically according to cells content and number of rows).<\/p>\n

Personal settings in view mode<\/h1>\n

Personal settings are available on the settings modal dialog in view mode and allow you to enable or disable autosave for any Inline Table Editing macros.<\/p>\n

Enable autosave<\/h2>\n

To enable or disable autosave for any table, please kindly use \u201cEnable autosave\u201c option. If the checkbox is enabled, autosave will be available for any table you edit. If this checkbox is disabled, autosave will not be enabled, and changes can be saved only clicking on \u201cpublish changes\u201d button.<\/p>\n
