What you can expect from us
Do you like working in a team of open-minded and result-oriented IT professionals? At the same time, do you like various projects with a focus on Linux or Windows and would you like to support our team and our customers in advancing business technologies and IT infrastructures? You are responsible for the installation, configuration and implementation of IT applications under Windows and Linux
You will be responsible for troubleshooting Windows and Linux-based server infrastructures and helping to solve complex, cross-system problems
You plan and carry out IT implementation projects
You recognize potential for improvement and have the power to optimize existing processes
You are responsible for ensuring IT operations within highly available environments
You act as 2nd and 3rd support for our employees and the in-house IT service desk
You will be responsible for the independent administration of networks (LAN/WLAN), firewalls and VPN Site-2-Site connections
You are responsible for the configuration and operation of monitoring and management systems based on open-source tools
You are in direct contact with our users and customers in the case of faults. In doing so, you act as support and analyze and resolve the problem

What you need to succeed
Ideally, you have a successfully completed degree in the field of computer science, information technology or a successfully completed professional training in the IT environment as an IT specialist, system administrator or comparable training
You already have solid professional experience in the administration and setup of Windows and Linux servers
You are experienced in the use of common scripting languages such as Python or Bash
You have experience in the use of agile methods
You have a keen interest in new technologies and processes and love to optimise them in terms of speed, stability and efficiency
You appreciate an outstanding cooperation with all departments as well as with (potential) customers. You communicate confidently, clearly and transparently and fluently in German and English
